“In true love, there is no mountain too high to climb. There is no river too wide to cross. And most of all, in true love, there is no end…”

It’s not every day that I find myself in western Maryland on the shores of a beautiful lake as the sun begins to rise, but it couldn’t have been a more beautiful morning for Levi Plochet and Carly King’s engagement session! This adorable couple, one a Penn State student and the other graduating from rival Ohio State, were referred to me by one of my very sweet July brides, and I really enjoyed the chance to get to know them a little better!
We started our session in a very misty field as the sun rose above the nearby trees and mountains, creating a misty haze that was perfect for some really warm shots. Carly’s cowgirl boots were perfect for stepping through the many sticks and pieces of brush that added a wild, untouched feel to our session.
Deep Creek Lake is surrounded by an array of white docks, colorful canoes on racks, and a grouping of gorgeous vacation homes. Carly and Levi were such good sports with every pose we tried. They even stuck their bare feet in what must have been pretty cold water without complaining! Thankfully, no photographers, clients, or camera gear ended up falling in the water during our time together! We did attract the interest of a few local dogs however.
I absolutely loved the chance to travel to Deep Creek Lake for this super fun session, and I want to reiterate just how much I love the chance to journey to such cool places and meet such awesome couples! April is an exciting month for us, and I can’t wait to show you all more of the amazing things Lindsay Eileen Photography has in store for 2017-2018 wedding season! Congratulations Levi and Carly!
