And in that time, we’ve come to appreciate the beauty of the world we live in. Our couples have taken us with them to the shores of Jamaica, as well as many destinations throughout the United States.

We are passport-ready, confident travelers who can provide the destination client the benefit of BOTH photography AND videography, with only one hotel room needed.

Our destination wedding packages are unique in that they allow you to simply choose the basics, or to create a layered set for an experience that is unique to the location you chose and speaks to your journey as a couple.

You’ve thoroughly combed through our website, blog and Instagram feed and you like what you see. So the next step is setting up a time to chat to make sure we’re the perfect fit for one another.

MAKE IT OFFICIAL

Date Booked

To book a date with us, we require a signed contract and 25% non-refundable retainer. This locks your date in place and allows you to get on our schedule for an engagement session! We’re happy to serve as a resource for vendor recommendations, timeline guidance, and more!

Engagement Session

Sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” date to take your photos, but the time of day does matter! We typically prefer about 2 hours before sunset or right at sunrise.

Wedding Day Prep

We check in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day. Your pre-wedding questionnaire and highlight film song choice from our music directory are all due 2 weeks before the big day!

The Big Day

It’s finally here! The day the two of you say “I Do” and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. Just know we’re excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It’s going to be awesome

They're Here!

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about two months of your wedding. At that time, we’ll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.

The highlight film will be delivered closer to month three and your feature film at about the 4 month mark.

Too excited to wait? Weddings receive a sneak peek mini gallery with about 75 photos during the week following the big day!

We are preferred providers with an amazing network of vendors geared towards helping you craft your dream day abroad. We can give you references for travel agents, wedding planners, venues, and other vendors WORLDWIDE through our WeddingsAbroad family.

We can also create custom packages for each and every one of our clients where needed and also offer a variety of destination wedding packages already including travel.

We love your work and want to book.

What is the next step?

A:

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a 25% non-refundable deposit. If you’re ready to move forward, just let us know and we’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 10 days before the wedding.

Q:

How many photos will we receive?

A:

Wedding galleries typically average around 100 color images per hour booked, so an 8 hour day can expect to receive 800 images. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding as some weddings have a much more eventful timeline. Your online gallery will come loaded with retouched, high resolution images you can print anywhere. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on social media, and please tag us when you do!

Q:

When do you charge travel fees for weddings?

A:

Most weddings within a 3 hour radius from us won’t require a travel fee. Destination weddings are priced separately and include travel in their package prices.

Weddings/engagement sessions outside the 3 hour range will be assessed on an individual basis as some locations (think NYC) have extra toll fees.

Q:

How far in advance should we book our date?

A:

As soon as you have a venue and a set date, it’s time to get on our books! Prime dates tend to fill 2 years in advance, and we take on about 30 weddings per year, so the sooner the better. We occasionally have space on our schedule for 6 months or less wedding dates, so please feel free to reach out!
