“So this is love. So this is what makes life divine.” –Cinderella

One of our FAVORITE things is when prior couples of ours send their friends our way!  We were introduced to Sunny and Harsha by one of our 2020 couples and it was definitely a perfect match!  Sunny’s family hosted the wedding at their beautiful home in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and family and friends pitched in to make it an event to remember!

Their wedding featured two separate wedding ceremonies:  a “legal” American-style ceremony and a beautiful Indian ceremony conducted by Harsha’s family.  From the handwritten vows to the exchanging of flowers and jewelry, each moment was breathtaking and heartfelt.  Family and friends who couldn’t make it to the ceremony tuned in via livestream, champagne was poured, and petals were tossed.  We couldn’t have imagined a better way to kick off our June wedding month!

How they met:  “We met during undergrad through mutual friends at Penn State and remained friends for about 5 years before started dating in medical school!”

How he proposed:  “Last June, we had planned to go on vacation in Banff, Canada, where he wanted to propose. The trip was canceled due to COVID’s travel restrictions. We ended up going to the Great Smokey Mountains for a hiking trip. I was told to bring along some nice outfits because we’ll be getting family portraits there. On our drive to the photoshoot spot, Ed Sheeran’s Perfect was playing, but I was still not paying attention to the cues. There, the photographer asked us to walk into the middle of the field with the gorgeous mountains as the backdrop… right then, Harsha got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with the most beautiful ring!! After the photoshoot was done, he insisted on Facetiming my family, whom had been scheming with Harsha to surprise me! It was the most thoughtful and perfect proposal that I could ever imagine. “

What Harsha loves most about Sunny:  “Caring, loving, goofy, intelligent, and driven.”

What Sunny loves most about Harsha:  “Appropriately manly and childish at the same time, open-minded, resilient, devoted, and goofy.”
