Mychal & Maria were part three of the craziest wedding weekend we’ve had since our business was formed! Not only was it the first time we had scheduled a triple but it was also a wild weekend for weather. Rain had pretty much become par for the course at that point, but these two got extremely lucky!
Unlike our other two couples for Memorial Day weekend, these two actually got to proceed with their outdoor ceremony AND the sun came out for a few brief moments just in time for golden hour, something we always consider a win! It was such a pleasure getting to meet them and to capture a portion of their magical wedding day!
How they met: “Through our mutual friends Josh and Sam Biss.”
How he proposed: “Mike’s sister Christin and her family moved to California for her husband’s work. We went to visit in Feb. 2019 and went to Laguna Beach and “The Top of the World”. So when we went back in 2020, we repeated the same day trip and Mike Proposed on “The Top of the World”. Christin and Mark got a babysitter for their kids that night, came out to have dinner and celebrate with us, and Mike had booked us an oceanfront hotel for the night.”
What Maria loves most about Mychal: “He is always lighthearted, low stress, and having fun. He is handy and always ready to build or fix it himself!”
